With a catchment area of 750,000 people and with economic outputs valued at £12bn per annum, East Cambridgeshire is an integral part of the world-renowned Cambridge high tech phenomenon. With annual exports of £2.8bn a year the Greater Cambridge economy is a key internal driver of growth and business for U.K PLC.

East Cambridgeshire has shown dynamic economic growth over the last ten years with around 4,000 VAT registered businesses adding 5,000 new jobs since the year 2000.
